ご存じでしたか、蜂蜜は腐らない唯一の食べ物であるということを

蜂蜜が壺に蓄えられ、棚に保管されたのはおよそ３３００年前とされています。それは考古学者のＴＭデイビスの発見をもとにした推察です。

デイビスは古代エジプトの墓から３３００年前の蜂蜜が入った壺を発見しました。驚いたことに、この蜂蜜はまだ食べることもできる良い状態を保ったままでした。

長い保存期間を可能にするには、湿気を避けるためにしっかり蓋で密閉されている必要があります。湿気を吸収すると蜂蜜が発酵しはじめてしまうためです。
